Lake Havasu, AZ - November 14, 2007 — European watercraft racing Champion Franky Zapata claimed the 2007 World Finals top prize, the 2007 Sea-Doo® XX Bounty. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the modern Sea-Doo watercraft, BRP posted a "XX Bounty" of $2,255.00 for the fastest lap time aboard the new 255 HP RXP-X™ watercraft. Team Sea-Doo's Zapata bested a dozen of the world's best Sea-Doo watercraft racers to claim his bounty by edging New Zealand's Carl Lampe by only two seconds.
rewards Sea-Doo mounted racers with cash prizes for successfully competing in specified classes at regional, national and World Final races. Top Sea-Doo racers were invited to compete in the special Sea-Doo XX Bounty Challenge and a chance to take home the weekends biggest prize purse, $2,255.00.
