WATERMARKS ONLINE:
Shop Dogs Taking a Peek at Personal Watercraft Illustrated's Garage

As indicated by prior posts, articles I've printed in the magazine, and
in basically every conversation I've had with anyone who'd listen, if I
were to be classified by any sort of social label, I'd consider myself
a car guy. I grew up around some pretty cool cars. I watched as my
father and older brother wrenched on cars. I've owned and have worked
on some pretty amazing cars, myself. Heck, I even wrote for magazines
talking about working old cars. It's pretty much a part of who I am. A major part of working on cars is where its done, and more often
than not, that's in the garage. Usually named the "shop" by people who
spend much of their free time in their garages, shops (or known in old
English spelling as "Ye Olde Shoppes") carry with them a certain slice
of reverence, a sanctity that can't be found anywhere else. It's where
things are made, discoveries are uncovered, where accomplishment and
disappointment reside in harmony. Like a blend of a kitchen, bedroom,
and office, the garage is as much a part of the home as anything. Since taking the reigns of Personal Watercraft Illustrated over two years ago, I've made it a part to incorporate little bits of
me and my personality into the publication, hopefully to your
enjoyment. A key portion of this infusion is the implementation of
drastically more insightful and thorough tech and "How-to" articles. I,
too, like many of you have admitted, enjoy getting my hands dirty,
digging into these machines and seeing how they work and figuring out
how to make them work just a little bit better. It's as much a part of
this sport and hobby as riding, in my opinion...
