Upstate Watercraft Promotions in conjunction with the Lake Hartwell Marketing Alliance are pleased to announce their newest venture in watercross racing at Lake Hartwell, Georgia. It has been quite a few years since a national tour of this magnitude has taken place in Georgia. The 2010 event will bring spectators and athletes from around the country to compete for one of the year's most coveted title and cash prizes - The Triple Crown of Watercross.

The Triple Crown of Watercross will take place on August 14-15, 2010 on Lake Hartwell, Georgia better known as the Lake Tahoe of the East. A schedule of events and further details will be posted in 2010.

This will be the sixth stop on the national tour for UWP-IJSBA. "The site is one of the most vast and spacious events that will be held in 2010. With a stadium seating view we anticipate on having a large spectator turnout" stated AJ Handler CEO of Upstate Watercraft Promotions, "People will be able to come from all over the country to see how remarkable Lake Hartwell is and what Georgia truly has to offer."

This two day event will consist of personal watercrafts battling handle bar to handle bar on the lake's typically quiet waters. The event will bring competitors one step closer in determining who will become the next national winner of the UWP-IJSBA Watercross National Championship.

The Triple Crown of Watercross highlights three different premiere classes. The Pro Ski G.P., Pro Freestyle, and Pro Runabout 1200 Open. Each Champion will earn themselves one of the coveted triples crowns for their class.
