The 8th Annual Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Awards are next Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Grove Theater in Anaheim, California.

The event starts at 6 PM with interview opportunities (to those with press credentials) with the greatest surfers in the world as they arrive on the Red Carpet. The stage show begins at 8:15 and the final award is handed out a bit after 10 PM. A press conference will follow on the stage at the Grove and key winners will be available for immediate breaking news/live interviews. B-ROLL of all the nominated surfing action will be available ON-SITE.
